SWITCH LOCK FOR DRAKE
TR-4
Rare is the owner
of‘ the Drake TR-4 who has nut
wasted a lot of time troubleshooting his sicking
only to find that the TCVR/RCVR switch on the
left side has been accidentally moved. The
author solved the problem by making a simple
lock which is held in place by some of the chassis
screws near the switch. It was made from a discarded
ice tray section but any piece of flat stock
will do. Cut a notch the exact size of the small
protuberance with a nibbling tool or a saw. Secure
the lock to the rig with the chassis screw and
the job is done. - Dumas M. Robinson - WA6SBP
