The R.L. Drake model TR-6 is a radio
transceiver which, in conjunction with an external fixed or mobile power
supply and a suitable antenna, permits two way radio communications on
any frequency in the 6 meter amateur band as well as on adjacent
frequencies. The mode of transmission and reception is switchable. The
unit is capable of communicating in the SSB, AM, FSK, and keyed CW
modes. Appropriate modulators and detectors are provided for each mode,
as well as switching for appropriate IF filters.

We didn't build a DC-23.
The first mobile power supply was the DC-3, it was produced for the TR-3
transceiver. The DC-4 followed with the introduction of the TR-4. We
also produced a DC-24 for those with a 24 volt power source, as aboard ships,
airplanes etc.
